Thinking about joining the Northmont Soccer Association (NSA) Board?

That's fantastic! As a volunteer organization, we cannot function without people just like you who are willing to volunteer some of their time to help make this association the best it can be for our players and families.

Why should I volunteer to be on the board?
1. NSA would not be possible without volunteers like you. Our club has filled a unique niche in local soccer since 1978. Your participation supports that legacy.

2. As parents, we all have opinions about what we want our kids’ experiences with different activities to be like; the NSA Board represents an opportunity to have some input into your child’s experience with soccer.

3. Being a Board member satisfies all of your volunteer requirements and provides financial benefits as well- free registration!

4. It’s fun! While the Board takes its responsibilities seriously, the Board is collegial, fun and connects you with your friends, neighbors and community.

What is the time commitment?
The Board meetings are held on the third Thursday evening of each month when not in season.  Board members are also asked to oversee weekend gameday operations, along with opening or closing the soccer fields twice each season.  Additional responsibilities will be tailored to each person’s area of interest or expertise.  Many hands make light work!
